SUCIRA Parroquia situada en la vertiente derecha del río Ulla y en la zona sur del Ayuntamiento de Boqueixón. Por su localizaicón, goza de un peculiar microclima, que unido a la abundancia de agua y a la calidad del subsuelo, es una zona de excelente huerta. La frondosidad de los bosques, donde destaca el roble y el pino, hace de este territorio uno de los parajes más hermosos del ayuntamiento. Su extensión es aproximadamente de 3,10 km2. Y acoge las entidades de: Frenza, Fontebranca, Monte, Quenllas y Sucira, en als que viven 89 personas. ÁREA RECREATIVA DE SUCIRA Situada al lado del río es un precioso lugar de recreo. La presencia del río y una magnífica robleda se suma al mobiliario que permite hacer comidas y reuniones. En esta área recreativa se celebran los días 18, 19 y 20 de julio las fiestas patronales en la honra de Santa Marina. IGLESIA PARROQUIAL SANTA MARINA DE SUCIRA. La construcción del templo data de finales del siglo XVII en época barroca, debido a lo ruinoso de su estado en los años centrales del s.XIX se ve alterada su estructura. Por esto, tanto el interior, capilla mayor y sacristía, como los muros exteriores, incluyendo la fachada y campanario, responden a criterios historicistas, dominando las formas sobrias y simplificadas que vemos en la actualidad.
SUCIRA Parish placed in the right hillside of the river Ulla and in the south of Boqueixón’s municipality. For its location, enjoys a unique microclimate, which together with the abundance of water and the quality of the subsoil, is an excellent zone of garden. The frondage of the mounts, where the oak and pine stands out, does of this zone one of the most beautiful zones of the region. Its extension is of approximately 3.10 km2. And hostes the entities of: Frenza, the Fontebranca, the Mount, the Quenllas and Sucira in which 89 people live. SUCIRA’S RECREATIVE AREA Placed next to the river is a beautiful place of playtime. The presence of the river and a magnificent oakwood adds the furniture that it allows to do show restraint and meetings. In this recreative area they are celebrated on the 18th, 19th and 20th July the employer holidays in honor of Santa Mariña. PARISH OF SANTA MARIÑA DE SUCIRA The construction of the temples moderate it dates back of ends of the 17th century in the baroque epoch, due to his ruinous condition in the central years of the 19th century his structure was altered. For this, both the interior, the major chapel and sacristy, and the exterior walls, including the front and belfry, expire with the historicist criteria, dominating the sober and simplified forms that we see today.
